Accessing
your Quik INSTANT Website:
- Go to http://builder.quik-sites.com
- If you already
have created a trial account or already purchased an INSTANT Site, simply
type in your login information that you used when your trial account
was created.
- If you have NOT
created a trial account, you will need to create one.

Adding
Images to Your Site:
- If you want to
add images to your website, the first thing you must do is upload the
images you want to a "common collection area" or "pool"
on the admin server. Do do this, log into your website builder
area and click on FILES link
on the left hand Navigation menu.

- Wait for the next
page to open. From here you can upload any Images, Banners and Files
that you want by clicking on the "Browse" button then
the "Upload" button. Continue this process until all
desired images are uploaded to the "collection area".

- Once you have
added all of the images that you want to use on your website, you can
go back to the Pages link on the
Navigation menu and begin adding these images to the modules on your
pages your pages.
Here is a Simple Example:
Click on the Pages link, then click
on the index.html page on the right
hand side to start editing it.
This will open a Edit Page Content
window which will allow you to add "modules" to your index.html
page. Click on the "Add Content Module"
button near the bottom.

Choose
any module which contains an image.

When the content module is added, you can edit the image by clicking on
the "pencil" icon next to the image.

When
the next window opens, you should see your "pool" of images
that you added in the previous steps listed in a dropdown menu and you
can choose the appropriate image that you want for that page.

Then
Click the Update button near the bottom
of the page.

Adding
Pages to Your Site:
- Click on the Pages
link on the left side Navigation menu.

- The Content
Manager will appear on the right side you will see 2 tables
adjacent to each other. The left table is for adding navigation buttons
to your Website, the right table is for adding pages to your website.

- In order to add
a new webpage, the first thing you must do is add a new button. Click
on the Add Button link.
- When the New window
appears, type in the new name of the button you are adding and click
Update
- The browser will
return to the previous screen and you will now see that the "new
button" has been added in the left table... along with a corresponding
page for that button in the right table that says Create
Page. Now you can start editing that page

Publishing
your Quik INSTANT Website to the web:
After you have accessed your website made the desired
changes, you must perform the following steps to publish the information
to the web:
- From within the
manager, click on EXPORT

- Then click Publish
my website directly to my hosting (ftp) account
- Fill in the appropriate
information:

- Click PUBLISH

Your
website will then be published to the web and you can go to www.your_domain_name.com
to view it.
(NOTE:
When viewing your published site, make sure you click the "REFRESH"
button on your browser so you view the most recently published information).

Editing
your Quik INSTANT Site Online Store:
Note:
you will be able to administrate and preview your Online Store only after
your Instant Website is published to the web.
After publishing your
site to the web, you can administrate your Online Store using your Online
Store Manager at www.your_domain_name.com/store/admin.
While logging in for
the first time, you will be asked to enter a PASSWORD, which will be used
further on. To preview your Online Store in the Web, click on the button
assigned to your Online Store or go directly to www.your_domain_name.com/store.

Q: Will the changes
to my website made in Site Manager influence my Online Store settings
and data?
A: No. You can modify your website in Site Manager and re-publish it to
the Web as many times as you wish. The settings and data of your
online store can be altered from the Online Store
Manager section only.

Creating
Domain Name Email Addresses:
- Go to www.quik.com/users
- To access your
Quik User's Page, use your Quik Internet login information that was
provided to you when your website was activated
- Once you are at
the Quik User's Page, scroll down until you see a link that says - "Modify
your Virtual Eebsites Email Forwarding"
- You will then
see a page that looks similar to the following...

- In the first field,
you need to type in your desired email address name
- In the second field,
you need to type in either:
| a) any currently
valid email address |
| or |
| b) any valid
Quik Internet mailbox username |
- Click the Do
It button and repeat steps 5 and 6 until all of your desired email
addresses have been added
- The email addresses
you added will then be forwarded to either the currently valid email
address(es) you indicated in the second field to or the appropriate
Quik Internet email box (whichever you inserted)
